Why Sikka?

Sikka is a term that, in several medieval civilizations, indicated that a city had received a mint for coining money. It has retained a close meaning in several modern Asian Indo-European languages such as Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, or Farsi, in which it means a coin.

Sikka Inclusive Finance was created in 2014 by Michel Arnoult and Romain Tevels, two inclusive finance practitioners who gathered numerous years of concrete experience working on field, holding senior management positions in various types of microfinance institutions.
